Born In the Dominican Republic, at a very young age, Moises began to discover his passion for Art. As a child he would spend most of his free time designing and building for his miniature train set, which grew into a scaled down city conformed by his interpretation of his personal favourite landmarks around the world. This opened up a space where he could explore with many different materials. He later studied Fine Arts at Altos de Chavon School for Design and subsequently at Parsons The New School for Design. After completing his studies, he participated in the Biennial at the Museum of Modern Art in Dominican Republic, where he won the prize for his painting “Rape?” and participated again on the next Biennial under the Performance and Installation categories. He has exhibited in many venues in Santo Domingo and Spain, focusing his interest in the human form and Painting as his preferred medium.
