RICCARDO PIAZZA

Coming from a family already immersed in the world of art and photography, Riccardo Piazza went to a graphic design and photography school.
He studied photography and learned about it using film cameras, completely falling in love with the art form. Piazza spent most of his days thinking about photography, studying all the different techniques
and practicing during his free time. After graduating, Piazza decided to move to London, as there were better opportunities for him to grow his passion. He took one of the best fashion photography courses at the Saint Martins, which allowed him to start making a living out with photography. Piazza started to work in close contact with celebrities and fashion events for an entire year.Soon after, Piazza went back to Italy where he worked for a company as a fashion graphic designer.
He had the chance to work with Valentino, Just Cavalli, Louis Vuitton and more while still practicing
and studying photography. After his experience in the UK, Piazza realized that his goals were much greater
than what his country could offer, dreaming about growing his career in an international city like New York. The opportunity came in 2015 when he met Raoul Beltrame, an Italian fashion photographer that at that point had already worked in New York for more than six years. With this photographer Piazza had the chance to work for fashion brands such as DKNY and MMissoni. In 2018, he finally moved to the US, living in NYC. He took extra courses to perfect his skills and learned techniques that he’s proud of today. While here, Piazza had the chance to meet many people who introduced him to the fashion world in NYC. Through hard work and consistency he cultivated these relationships and started working with many brands and magazines such as Vogue, Grazia, Fashion Week Daily, London Art Magazine, Safilo, OFF-White, Crabtree & Evelyn, etc.

Piazza is currently working on a new project he founded: Studio P23. Alongside that, he’s focusing on
personal projects that involve fine art and are exhibitions oriented.
